

OpenAI has finished the initial training run on its next-generation AI model, codenamed Spud.
CEO Sam Altman told employees in a memo on Tuesday, according to The Information as reported by The Decoder. He called Spud a “very strong” model that could “really accelerate the economy,” with a usable version ready in a few weeks.
